The Culinary Forum of Goa, in collaboration with Joseph Dias and Trinity Group, set a Guinness World Record for creating the world's largest fish patty on August 3, 2017. The patty weighed an impressive 295.6 kg (651.68 lbs) with a diameter of 122 cm. It was crafted at an indoor stadium near Panaji, Goa, by a team of renowned chefs from starred hotels, executive chefs of Goa, and local service and logistics providers. The record-breaking patty was made using 185 kg of fish, 660 kg of eggs, two liters of milk, and other essential ingredients.
On August 3, 2018, the Culinary Forum of Goa played a key role in setting another Guinness World Record—this time for the largest mud pie, weighing 1,345 kg (2,965 lbs 3.48 oz). The achievement was led by Joseph Dias, Varun Inamdar, Prasad Paul, Sunit Sharma, Saurabh Puri, Trinity Group, and their team, further cementing Goa’s place on the global culinary map.
